A week on the Isle of May

The Isle of May in the Firth of Forth, only 1.5km long and about 0.5km wide, was a tiny paradise to spend every day drawing and painting earlier this spring. At every turn there is a subject waiting, from the ever changing light over the sea and distant landforms to birds jostling for space on the cliffs, seastacks and spume to the functional lighthouse buildings. Here is a taste of the week...
